CHAMONIX PARAPENTE is a limited liability company whose role is to connect sports and free flight professionals with customers. These professionals are independent workers, duly qualified, declared and insured. The latter take charge of the entire course of the activity. The execution of the service is the sole responsibility of the professional or professionals in charge of supervising the activity. The customer may not bring any action directly against SARL CHAMONIX PARAPENTE once the professional or professionals have accepted the provision of the service.
In order to organize your paragliding flight as well as possible under the best conditions, remember to book at least 48 hours in advance.

Terms of reservation and cancellation of leisure services Under Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, all services and benefits offered on the website are not subject to the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles l.121-20 and following of the Consumer Code. As a result, the leisure services ordered on the website are exclusively subject to the following cancellation conditions:

Conditions for the BIPLACE activity:

CHAMONIX PARAPENTE reserves the right to cancel services until the last moment for safety reasons by decision of the supervisor. Activities cancelled by us are refunded, postponed or converted into gift vouchers according to the client’s choice.
The benefits are payable in advance in full.

Cancellation conditions by the customer:

Cancellation of your flight is possible up to 48 hours before your appointment without supporting documents. Your payment will be returned with a withholding of 15% of the total amount of the service for administrative costs.
After this period, your flight will be billed at 100%.

Conditions for INTERNSHIPS:

For the reservation, a deposit of €165 is requested from the client. CHAMONIX PARAPENTE reserves the right to cancel services until the last moment for safety reasons by decision of the supervisor. In case of total cancellation: the deposit is returned.
In case of cancellation during the course: CHAMONIX PARAPENTE will adapt the billing according to the service provided:
for example: If 1 day is completed, only 1 day will be charged to the client.
Cancellation conditions due to the customer:

The cancellation of your internship is possible on your own initiative with a 100% retention of the deposit, regardless of the reason.

Conditions for GIFT VOUCHERS:

A gift voucher is valid for 2 years from its date of issue. It is nominative. A refund is possible in case of serious illness, death, job loss, accident on proof from the client who owns the gift voucher. the payment will be returned with a withholding of 15% of the total amount of the service for administrative costs if the validity date of the voucher has not passed.
Paragliding is a free flight activity that depends entirely on weather conditions, aerological and the opening of the lifts of the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc. A flight can therefore be cancelled at any time if the data are not available.
The client is responsible for making appointments. SARL CHAMONIX PARAPENTE cannot be held responsible for making appointments late due to the end of validity of the order and therefore the possible impossibility to carry out the service due to bad weather or closure of ski lifts or complete planing.

CHAMONIX PARAPENTE uses a secure payment tool called STRIPE . The security of the payment is based on the authentication of the Buyer, and on the confidentiality of all data. To ensure this security, STRIPE uses proven cryptographic techniques via the SSL protocol and complies with the various banking regulations applicable in France.

– In the event of a dispute, consumers may have recourse to a consumer mediator appointed by Chamonix Parapente: called “Professional Mediation Company” 24 rue Albert de Mun, 33 000 Bordeaux.

Article L152-1 of the Consumer Code specifies that every consumer has the right to resort free of charge to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of the dispute between him or her and a professional.
